Lauren Feece

Lauren Feece has small town origins, however, much of her current visual language comes from her time in Chicago- where she has been influenced by the city’s urban expressions, and yet has simultaneously resisted the city’s hyperactive pace. Inspired by the connection of the artistic process to ritual, myth, and meditation, she imagines herself as the illustrator of a modern autobiographical mythology, depicting the romantic musings of her inner world.

Feece has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States including Gallery Lorenzo Homar (Philadelphia, PA), Perihelion Arts, (Phoenix, AZ) & Rowland Contemporary (Chicago). Her work has been featured in various international publications including Elle Girl (Korea), Tactile (Gestalten Press) and Raw Material=Art (Thames & Hudson).
